This Website

This website is my personal professional portfolio and résumé site, designed and built from scratch to serve as a showcase of who I am, what I do, and how I work. It reflects my aesthetic sensibilities, my technical capabilities and my commitment to a clear, accessible, and purposeful user experience.

The Problem

After eight years, my portfolio and resume were woefully out of date. My skills and the technology of the web had advanced dramatically.

The Solution

I chose a vibrant and fiery aesthetic to grab attention with arresting, atypical and pleasing visuals. There is an emphasis on readability, navigational clarity, delightful interface elements and performance. The site follows mobile-first responsive principles and loads quickly across devices, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. Interactive elements and transitions are subtle and purposeful, designed to enhance comprehension rather than distract.

Work has been done to maximize SEO friendliness and WCAG accessibility.

My Role

I am responsible for the full scope of this project: environment setup, design and visual branding, information architecture, and front-end development.

The Result

This site is an essential part of my job search and personal brand visibility. It provides a clear, professional narrative for recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers. The goal is to create a showcase of my abilities that is highly scannable for hiring managers yet deep enough for technical reviewers to evaluate the details.

This website is going to get me the best job I ever had.
