The Problem

The new board game, Twisted Trumpets, needed a way to convey the rules and concepts to potential buyers easily and attractively.

The Solution

Two videos were modeled and animated in Blender; one that showcases the table presence of the game and outlines the basics of the rules, and one that explains how scoring works.

My Role

Working with the publisher and game designer—who provided all art assets created by Viktoriya Fajardo—I first created all of the 3D models that would be needed to showcase all of the various elements of the game.

After all of the elements were reviewed and approved as an accurate reflection of the physical game, I began animation based on scripts and direction provided by the game designer.

I worked with the game designer to revise animations to his satisfaction while making sure the project was delivered within the established parameters of the deadline and the budget.
